Hi, I'm Renzi
-It's nice to meet you.
Born and raised in the small town of Cut Off, Louisiana, I have a distinct love and passion for everything that is unique to the vibrant Cajun culture. The art of making runs generations deep in my family, with my grandfather starting one of Cut Off's first net-making shops to service local fishermen. This tradition of net-making has remained in the family and has become, along with the beautiful culture and landscape of South Louisiana, an inspiration for my personal architectural and artistic investigations.
I have recently graduated from Louisiana State University's School of Architecture in Baton Rouge. Design training has helped me to develop my talents and interests, resulting in focused research and design projects. I have dedicated much of my time at LSU to extracurricular involvement, specifically with LSU Student Government and within the College of Art + Design. These leadership experiences have allowed me to grow both academically and professionally, providing me with a diverse collegiate experience. I hope to further develop my talents and broaden my personal interests through a continual investigation and discovery of the world through art, architecture, and leadership.
Here you'll find a collection of my design work, along with a glimpse into my extracurricular involvement and interests. You'll notice my interests influence my work, and I hope to continue implementing daily discoveries into my investigations.
